Why form a team?

Walking with people you know makes participating in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks event even more fun!  Fundraising together makes it much easier to reach your goals.  Teams can be made up of co-workers, friends, family members or anyone who wants to walk for a great cause.  Accelerating autism research is a team effort and Team Captains are our leaders.  If you can recruit a few other people to join you (and we know you can!), consider becoming a team captain.

Spread Autism Awareness
Have you asked friends and co-workers to join you at the Walk?  Inviting new team members will help spread autism awareness in your own circle.

A Little Friendly Competition Never Hurt Anyone
Make a little competition for the Top Fundraiser on your team and you’ll get closer to achieving your team fundraising goal.  If you think of a cool prize to award that person, then we can almost guarantee the competitiveness and spirit in your team members will come out, and then it’s GAME ON!

We Got Spirit! Yeah, Yeah!
Make team t-shirts or signs.  This will make your team stand out and have fun as a group!  Be sure to visit our "Team Photos" tent and test out your modeling skills while we snap your photo!

So, think you’re ready to gather your Walkers and get your team started?
