Bikers For Autism are a passionate father and son team that are striving to make a difference in the lives of the people across Canada affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. Inspired by a close family member's journey to raise a son diagnosed with autism. Backed by Autism Speaks Canada, Trev-Deeley Harley Davidson, Okanagan Springs and Lords of Gastown, Bikers For Autism will set out on a 39-day mission to spread their message of awareness across an entire country.
The motorcycle ride will begin on July 29, 2012 at 11am with a gathering at the Trev Deeley Motorcycles located at 1875 Boundary Road, Vancouver. There will be a fundraising event as part of Trev-Deeleys 95th Anniversary Party, capped off with a Vancouver Police Department escort of over 100 Harley riders to the trans-Canada highway at 3pm. The ride will finish 8,000+ kilometres later in at in St. John's, Newfoundland. Autism awareness events are planned to take place in Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Oshawa, Montreal, Fredericton, Hubbards NS and St John's. All proceeds raised from the Bikers For Autism events will be divided between Osoyoos Autism Behavioural Centre and Autism Speaks Canada in support of their mission.
August 2nd, 2012 Bikers For Autism will be hosting an awareness event from 11am-3pm at Calgary Harley Davidson Dealership (2245 Peagasus Rd NE, Barlow & Mc knight). That will carry over to Melrose CafeBar on 730-17th Ave Calgary after 6pm for diner, drinks and a BFA fundraiser event.
August 7th, 2012 Bikers For Autism will be in Winnipeg, Manitoba to join QX104 Fm Morning Radio host Samantha Stevens between 6am-10am for an on-air talk about Autism awareness. 3rd Floor-177 Lombard Ave.
August 7th, 2012 Bikers For Autism will be in Winnipeg, Manitoba hosting Live music/BBQ in Kildonan Park. This event will feature live music by local Reggae Band Inna Riddim
August 14, 2012 Bikers For Autism will be hosting an Autism awareness event in Toronto, Ontario at Davies Harley Davidson Dealership, 8779 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, from 11am-3pm.
August 14th, 2012 Bikers For Autism will be hosting an live music event at The Hideout Night club

August 19th Bikers For Autism will be in Montreal,Quebec hosting a live music event at Le Pourvoyeur http://lepourvoyeur.com/ 184 Jean-Talon E. Montreal. From 8pm onward join us and many of my Club Med Alumni for an amazing night of live music & great food.
August 24, 2012 Bikers For Autism will in Fredericton, NB Hosting a Pub fundraiser event set up by Sean Mullin of Astral Radio, 206 Rookwood Ave, Nackawic, NB. Details (TBA)
